Terms of service

1. What the Service does

The Service is an automated audit and analytics tool. With your explicit OAuth consent, it connects to your Meta Ads, Shopify, and Google Ads accounts in read-only mode and generates a personalized performance report with recommendations. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

2. Permitted use

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and only with accounts you own or are authorized to access. You agree not to:

• Use the Service to access data from accounts you do not own or have permission to access.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract our proprietary benchmark dataset, audit framework, or aggregated metrics library.
• Use the Service in a way that violates Meta's, Shopify's, or Google's terms of service.
• Resell, redistribute, or republish audit reports without prior written consent from ECOM HOUSE GmbH.
• Use the Service to develop or operate a directly competing product.

3. Connected accounts

You are responsible for the security of the accounts you connect (Meta, Shopify, Google), and for confirming that you have the authority to grant the Service access to each one. You can revoke access at any time using the steps described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

Audit reports and recommendations are informational only. They do not constitute professional financial, legal, marketing, or business advice. ECOM HOUSE GmbH is not liable for business decisions you make based on a report, nor for damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

The Service depends on data made available by Meta, Shopify, and Google. Inaccuracies in their data, downtime, API rate limits, or breaking changes to their APIs may affect the Service's output. We are not liable for such third-party issues.

5. Intellectual property

The Service — including its source code, design, audit framework, scoring methodology, and aggregated benchmark datasets — is the intellectual property of ECOM HOUSE GmbH. The audit report generated for you may be used internally and shared at your discretion, subject to Section 2.

6. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for any user who violates these terms or applicable law. On termination, we will delete your associated data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Service after the change constitutes acceptance.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes shall be submitted to the courts of competent jurisdiction in Germany. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
